Sylvester Stallone Knife Collection Auction to run Wednesday, February 10, 2021, from 12:00 pm Pacific Time until 12:00 pm on Saturday, February 13, 2021.

All knives are from the private collection of Sylvester Stallone and will be sold as-is, with no refunds. Accepted payments only by wire transfer or cashier’s checks. There will be no buyers fee, the high bid takes it and actual shipping and insurance charges will be added. California sales tax applies only to California residents. Mr. Stallone will provide a letter of authenticity with each knife.

The high bid will be posted daily on this website. On Saturday, February 13 at noon, the auction closes unless there is bidding in the last five minutes, in which case the bidding will extend another 20 minutes.

Sly had Bill Moran make three knives to use in the Rambo Movie.  The Damascus St-23 was to be John Rambo’s main carry blade and the two St-24’s were to be worn across his back.

Bill Moran, M.S., Damascus Steel St-23

Originally made for Sly to carry in Rambo. Blade with double temperline is approx. 12″, Overall is approx. 18.25″.  A ladder pattern, as well as pool and eye pattern, are both very visible in the Damascus steel.  The guard and buttcap as well as skullcrusher pommel are forged from Moran’s twist Damascus. There is very minor spotting on both the guard and butt shown in the photo.  The expertly sculpted grip is inset with yards of silver wire in an exceptional pattern as well as the worked wood inlaid with wire at the front and rear of the handle.  Matching Curly Maple Sheath is a work of art!  Twist Damascus tip, unbelievable amount of silver wire work as well as a Damascus steel frog inset in the wood.  Along with this once in a lifetime find is a book detailing Bill Moran’s building of the knife and sheath as well as correspondence between Sly and the Morans.  Historical pieces to be sure.

Bill Moran Carbon Steel St-24

The blade is approx. 10″ and forged from high carbon steel and differentially tempered. Overall length is approx. 16″.

The Wickedly sharp blade has a false edge and exhibits a couple of black specks that are visible in the photo.  Guard is made from nickel silver and the Curly Maple has silver wire inlay. The sheath is wood lined with leather and has Moran’s signature silver half Moon.

Bill Moran Carbon Steel St-24

The blade is approx. 10″ and forged from high carbon steel.  Blade is differentially tempered.  The overall length is approx. 16″.  The blade is near mint with a couple of black spots seen in photos.  The guard is made of nickel silver.  The beautiful curly maple handle has silver wire inlay. The sheath is wood lined with leather and has Moran’s signature silver half moon.

Herman Schneider Thumbprint Dagger

Herman Schneider made the knife for the movie “Cobra”.  He also made this stunning dagger for Sly Stallone’s collection.  The stainless steel blade is approx. 6.25″ and has an expertly done satin finish.. Overall length is approx. 12″.  Bolster has Thumbprints on both sides. Matching Sambar Stag scales really compliment the knife. Leather sheath.
