Celebrities That Really, Really Like Knives
All manner of people get really into collecting knives. And if you’re on Exquisite Knives’ website, you are probably among those people. But knife collecting transcends far beyond you and your buddies. Celebrities also really like knives, just like us. In this fun and informative blog post, Exquisite Knives lists celebrities who are (almost) as into knives as we are.
Angelina Jolie is really, really into knives. Not only does she enjoy collecting them, but she also likes to involve them in the bedroom. Her fascination and fondness for “knife play,” as she calls it, has inspired many an article linking her and knives. However, some of her adoration for knives is a little more innocent. She said she has always loved knives since she was a kid and her role in the successful movie (also her breakout role, arguably) the “Tomb Raider,” inspired in her a love for knife throwing, as that was a main stunt featured in the hit movie. Additionally, an appearance on Conan O’Brien’s late night show where she talked about her love for knives and even showcased her butterfly knife skills secured her as a huge knife expert and fan. One could argue that she is, among all celebrities, the biggest knife fanatic out there.
The famous musician Ted Nugent is a huge fan of knives, as well as guitar-playing and conservative politics. Ted even had a signature edition of the popular knife, the Kershaw Leek, as well as two Ted Nugent Swiss Army Knives. Completely solidifying his knife celebrity status, Buck Knives just signed Ted to be an ambassador for their brand. But the knife support doesn’t stop there. An outdoorsman and hunter, Ted says that outdoor knives are his favorite, most trust knives. Additionally, he says he is a huge supporter of knife rights, as well as an obvious supporter of gun rights.
It probably comes as no surprise that Sylvester Stallone, the actor who played Johnny Rambo, is a knife-lover. The influence probably stems from the cool use of knives in his movies- the Lile Rambo knife, the Herman Schneider knife in Cobra and also the Spyderco knife that is used in the popular Stallone movie Cliffhanger. In real life, he is fond of such knives including those of: Bob Loveless, Bill Moran, Jimmy Lile, and others.
Old Nick Cage has an interesting variety of hobbies. But you probably didn’t know that knife-collecting is among them. He admits to enjoying knives from knife makers such as Ken Onion, Gil Hibben, and some unnamed local vendors. He also once used a 2,000 dollar knife with an ivory handle to cut steak. He may be a little wacky, but here at Exquisite Knives, we have to applaud him for his taste in knives.
